Despite Significant Efforts, Today's Cardiovascular Care Faces Critical Challenges.
Introducing Spike Dynamics
We are developing 5mm untethered micro-robots that navigate inside blood vessels — diagnosing, delivering therapy, and performing minimally invasive procedures.
Unlike traditional tools, our platform is:
-
Untethered — no wires.
-
Autonomous — powered by AI and operating in real time.
-
Minimally invasive — requires only a 30 seconds catheter access.
-
Multi-functional — capable of diagnostics, targeted drug delivery, thrombus therapy, microsurgical interventions, and implant delivery.

Each robot is built from fully biocompatible, non-magnetic materials, measuring just 1 mm in diameter and 5mm in length.
Controlled by an external infrared beacon system, with fail-safe positioning in case of signal loss.
How it Works
ARTIFICIAL MICRO-MUSCLES
SP1 powered by artificial micro-muscles — enabling precise locomotion and active tasks without external mechanical component or magnetic fields.

Spike’s micro-robots operate in four seamless stages:
INSERTION
Minimally invasive entry via a catheter or micro-incision.
NAVIGATION
Autonomous movement through blood vessels using biomimetic propulsion.
THERAPY
Targeted diagnostics, drug delivery, or microsurgical tasks - precisely at the site of disease.
AI MONITORING
Continuous, large volume of data collection in real time - far beyond the capabilities of conventional tools.

CLINICAL APPLICATIONS
Example and use cases
Spike’s micro-robots are designed for use in cardiovascular interventions where precision, early access, and minimal invasiveness are critical.
Our technology enables targeted navigation and delivery in areas that are often inaccessible with conventional tools-opening the door to transformative new procedures.

Pacemaker Deployment

Thrombus Therapy
Robotic delivery of fully wireless, bioresorbable pacemakers invented by NWU
Minimally invasive treatment of blood clots to restore blood flow and prevent complications.

Continuous Diagnostics

Personalized Interventions
On-demand intravascular diagnostics for early disease detection
AI-powered delivery of therapies — including ablation or drug release — directly at the target site, tailored to the patient’s condition.

OUR MISSION
To build AI-powered cardiovascular micro-robots that can navigate, diagnose, treat, and deliver therapy from within — safely, precisely, and earlier than ever before.
We aim to give people longer, healthier lives — by shifting medicine from reactive crisis response to proactive, personalized intervention.
We believe the future of heart care should be gentle, intelligent, and invisible — felt only in how much better life becomes.
